Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has released a book titled, 'Traversing the Thorny Terrain of Nigeria's Justice Sector; My Travails and Triumphs,' which chronicles the challenges and successes he achieved as minister.

During his tenure, Malami faced a number of controversies, including the handling of the Abacha loot, the MTN saga, the Paris Club Refund, and the Twitter ban. He has been accused of being selective and vindictive in his approach to combating corruption.

In his book, Malami defends his record and argues that his decisions were taken in the best interests of the country. He also criticizes the media for its coverage of his tenure, saying that they focused on negative stories and ignored his accomplishments.

The book launch was attended by a number of dignitaries, including Kebbi State governor, Atiku Bagudu, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha. Bagudu praised Malami for his contributions to Nigeria's democratic governance, while Mustapha said that he was one of the most vilified Attorneys-General in Nigeria's history.
