Wrexham has reportedly agreed to a club-record £10 million deal to sign forward Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town. According to reports from Sky Sports, the Welsh international is traveling to Wrexham to undergo a medical and complete the necessary paperwork for the transfer.
The 27-year-old, who can play as a winger or through the middle, previously played for Wrexham's youth academy before moving to Everton. He joined Ipswich permanently in 2023, following loan spells with Burton Albion, Sunderland, and Wigan Athletic. Broadhead was a key player in Ipswich's promotion to the Premier League, scoring 13 league goals during their Championship promotion season.
Broadhead's move to Wrexham would be the club's ninth summer signing. The deal comes after Wrexham's new signing, Kieffer Moore, was injured in the team's opening Championship game. The addition of Broadhead is expected to provide valuable cover for the position.
