Man arrested for defiling underage boy in Rivers
Members of a local vigilante group in the Okujagu community in Trans-Amadi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have arrested Chigozie Okpara, a suspected homosexual.

He was apprehended on Sunday night for allegedly having carnal knowledge of an underage boy.

A resident of the area told PUNCH Online that the man, who is in his 40s, said he worked with a security company in Port Harcourt and usually lured his unsuspecting victims with food and snacks into his house before defiling them.

A digital tool considered vital in tracking viral falsehoods, CrowdTangle will be decommissioned by Facebook owner Meta in a major election year, a move researchers fear will disrupt efforts to detect an expected firehose of political misinformation.

Edo police begin manhunt for suspected rapist
Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have begun a manhunt for a suspect identified as Promise for allegedly raping a 13-year-old minor in the state.
It was gathered that the suspect raped the minor to a state of unconsciousness in the Uwa area in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.
It was learnt that the suspect lured the minor into his room, raped her and abandoned her in her unconscious state, and absconded.
