Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Usyk (Ukrainian: Олександр Олександрович Усик, pronounced [olekˈsɑndr ˈusɪk]; born 17 January 1987) is a Ukrainian professional boxer.

Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Usyk, born on January 17, 1987, in Simferopol, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union, is a Ukrainian professional boxer. Nicknamed "The Cat" for his agility and movement, Usyk has made history as a three-time undisputed champion in the "four-belt era," achieving this feat in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions.

Usyk had a distinguished amateur career, winning heavyweight gold medals at the 2011 World Championships and the 2012 London Olympics. He turned professional in 2013, quickly rising through the cruiserweight ranks. He became the undisputed cruiserweight champion in 2018 by unifying all four major world titles (WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO) and defended his undisputed title once before moving up to heavyweight in 2019.

In the heavyweight division, Usyk continued his success, defeating notable opponents like Anthony Joshua (twice), Tyson Fury (twice), and Daniel Dubois (twice). He first became unified heavyweight champion in 2021 and achieved undisputed heavyweight status in May 2024 by defeating Tyson Fury. He regained his undisputed status in July 2025 by knocking out Daniel Dubois. Usyk is known for his technical brilliance, southpaw stance, and ability to outmaneuver larger opponents.
