Actor Manny Jacinto is generating buzz with his latest project, the upcoming film "Freakier Friday." The sequel to the beloved 2003 movie "Freaky Friday," is set to hit theaters on Friday, August 8th. Jacinto plays the role of Eric Davies, a British chef and single father who is engaged to Anna, the character played by Lindsay Lohan.

 

Jacinto, who is a Filipino-Canadian actor, recently spoke about the process of developing a British accent for the role. He mentioned studying the voices of various British actors, with Jude Law being a key inspiration. He also credited a dialect coach and a previous project filmed in the UK for helping him with the accent.

The film marks a significant role for Jacinto, who is known for his work in series such as "The Good Place" and "The Acolyte," as well as a memorable part in "Top Gun: Maverick."
