Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) has returned for its tenth season, and it's already living up to its reputation for drama and unexpected twists. The season, titled "BBNaija: 10/10," premiered with a double launch on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, promising ten weeks of captivating entertainment.
This year's winner will walk away with a staggering N150 million grand prize, the highest in the show's history since its debut in 2006. Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is back for his ninth consecutive season to guide viewers through the rollercoaster of emotions and strategic gameplay.
Auditions for the landmark season took place in May, with online registrations from May 3 to 7, followed by in-person auditions in Lagos, Enugu, and Abuja from May 16 to 18. The process was designed to find the most dynamic and entertaining personalities from across Nigeria.
The first week in the house has been a whirlwind of emotions, with early alliances forming, heated arguments, and a major nomination twist. Big Brother, in a shocking move, put almost all housemates up for possible eviction after they failed a task to find an envelope. Head of House Victory was given the power to save one housemate, and he chose Kayikunmi, granting him immunity.
Viewers can catch the 24/7 live stream on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49, as well as on Showmax. Weekly Sunday eviction shows will also air exclusively on these platforms.
