Dundalk FC aim to extend their unbeaten streak and solidify their lead at the top of the SSE Airtricity First Division. Read the latest team news and manager's call to arms.

Dundalk FC are set to defend their impressive unbeaten streak in the SSE Airtricity First Division as they face Treaty United at Oriel Park tonight, June 20, 2025. The Lilywhites currently sit comfortably at the top of the table, a testament to a stellar season that has seen them secure 12 wins and 6 draws from their opening 18 matches.

Manager Ciarán Kilduff has issued a passionate call to the club's supporters to create an intimidating fortress at Oriel Park for the remainder of the season, emphasizing the crucial role they play in the team's quest for promotion back to the Premier Division. "We've got nine home games to try and win a league, to get the club back to where it belongs," Kilduff stated. "We're unbeaten, top of the table, packed with young local lads giving everything. But we need more, all of us, all at once. Can we knit this whole club together and push it on? Can we fill the place, make Oriel a fortress and drag us over the line?”

His impassioned plea comes on the back of a hard-fought 1-1 draw against UCD in their most recent outing. Despite the dropped points, Dundalk's consistent performances throughout the campaign have established them as the team to beat in the division.

Tonight's clash with Treaty United presents another opportunity for the Louth side to solidify their lead at the summit. Following this encounter, Dundalk will travel to face Finn Harps on June 23rd before returning to Oriel Park to take on Cobh Ramblers on June 27th.

The club has seen a number of player movements in recent months, with several new additions bolstering the squad for their promotion charge. The blend of experienced players and emerging local talent appears to be a successful formula for Kilduff's side as they navigate the business end of the season. The focus now is firmly on maintaining their high standards and securing a swift return to top-flight football.
