Get the latest news on the JAMB mop-up exam for the 2025 UTME. Find out the official date (June 28), eligibility, and how to print your notification slip.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a mop-up examination for candidates who were unable to sit for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The examination is scheduled to hold on Saturday, June 28, 2025, across designated centres nationwide.

This supplementary examination is designed to accommodate candidates who missed the main UTME due to various reasons, including technical glitches at their assigned Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, biometric verification failures, and other legitimate reasons for absence.

According to a statement released by the board, eligible candidates are required to begin printing their examination notification slips from Monday, June 23, 2025. The slip will contain the candidate's registered number, examination centre, and the scheduled time for the test.

JAMB has clarified that the mop-up examination is a testament to its commitment to ensuring that no deserving candidate is disenfranchised due to logistical or technical challenges beyond their control. The board has also taken stringent measures against CBT centres found to have engaged in examination malpractices during the main UTME, with several centres being suspended.

Candidates who have been officially notified by JAMB are advised to reprint their examination slips to confirm their eligibility and examination details. It is crucial for affected candidates to adhere strictly to the information provided on their notification slips and arrive at their respective centres on time.

The board has assured the public of a seamless and hitch-free mop-up examination process, reiterating its dedication to upholding the integrity and standard of the UTME.
