Abducted Taraba varsity students regain freedom
Two students of the Federal University Wukari kidnapped two weeks ago have regained their freedom.

The Head, Information and Protocol Unit of the institution, Mrs Ashu Agbu, disclosed this in a WhatsApp message sent to our correspondent on Friday.
“The two students of the Federal University Wukari who were kidnapped regained their freedom last night after spending days in the hands of their abductors,’ she said.
She, however, did not provide details on how the students were released.
But last week, the abductors demanded N50m ransom.

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has insisted that the award of the Lagos-Calabar Highway Project did not meet the minimum threshold of due process.
