Edo police begin manhunt for suspected rapist
Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have begun a manhunt for a suspect identified as Promise for allegedly raping a 13-year-old minor in the state.
It was gathered that the suspect raped the minor to a state of unconsciousness in the Uwa area in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.
It was learnt that the suspect lured the minor into his room, raped her and abandoned her in her unconscious state, and absconded.
The state command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, confirmed the incident.

King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, arrived by car for the hour-long late morning service at St George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle, west of London.

The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, on Saturday played host to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who charged political leaders on sacrifice and selflessness.
