WWE's biggest party of the summer is set to make history this weekend, as SummerSlam 2025 will be a two-night event for the first time ever. The 38th annual premium live event will take place on **Saturday, August 2nd, and Sunday, August 3rd, 2025,** at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Following the success of the two-night WrestleMania format, SummerSlam is adopting a similar structure to provide fans with an even bigger spectacle. The main card for both nights is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT

For viewers in the United States, SummerSlam will stream live and exclusively on Peacock. In a major change for international fans, the event will be available on Netflix in most markets as part of a new broadcasting deal. A pre-show for both nights will kick off three hours before the main event, streaming on Peacock and WWE's official social media channels.

The expanded format allows for a massive card featuring high-stakes matches and star-studded appearances. Night 1 highlights include CM Punk challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, while Night 2 will be headlined by a highly anticipated Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship between John Cena and Cody Rhodes.
