Rumors and leaks are circulating about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, with many reports suggesting an earlier-than-usual launch for the device. While Samsung has yet to officially announce the phone, speculation points to a possible release in late August or early September. This would be a shift from the previous Galaxy S24 FE, which was released in October.

According to various sources, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and full-HD+ resolution. The phone is tipped to be powered by Samsung's Exynos 2400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the device is rumored to have a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is expected to be a 12MP sensor.

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the battery capacity. Some sources suggest a smaller 4,500mAh battery compared to the 4,700mAh battery in the Galaxy S24 FE, possibly in favor of a thinner design. Other reports, however, claim a larger 4,900mAh or even 5,500mAh battery. The phone is, however, widely expected to support 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The device is also likely to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and will reportedly ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.

The Galaxy S25 FE is also anticipated to be eligible for seven years of operating system and security updates, similar to the Galaxy S25 series. The phone is rumored to be available in a range of colors, including Icy Blue, Jet Black, Navy, and White.
