The acclaimed actress, who played Dr. Elizabeth Corday on ER and the iconic River Song in Doctor Who, joins a lineup that also includes reality TV star Dani Dyer and sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey. Kingston has previously expressed her interest in joining the show, citing her friend and former contestant Sarah Hadland as an inspiration.
This marks the first time the veteran actress, with a career spanning over four decades, has taken part in a reality television show.
