According to reports from iHeartRadio and 11alive.com, Kirk and Rasheeda Frost's son, Ky Lasheed Frost, has been named by the Gwinnett County Police Department as the prime suspect in the shooting death of T-Hood. The incident took place at Hood's home in Snellville, Georgia. The police report indicates that the shooting, which occurred on August 9, is being investigated as a possible self-defense case. A domestic dispute is believed to have taken place at the residence, resulting in physical injuries to a female victim. Ky Frost remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

T-Hood was reportedly dating the Frosts' daughter, Kelsie, at the time of his death. Kelsie Frost has publicly denied rumors of her involvement in her boyfriend's death, while T-Hood's mother, Yulanda, has accused Ky Frost of shooting her son. No official charges have been announced.
