The long-awaited return of Oasis to their hometown is finally here. The legendary band is set to play a series of five sold-out concerts at Heaton Park as part of their monumental "Oasis Live '25" reunion tour.
The Manchester dates kick off tonight, Friday, July 11, with subsequent performances on July 12, 16, 19, and 20. These concerts mark the band's first performances in the city in 16 years, and the anticipation across Manchester is palpable.
The reunion tour, which began in Cardiff to widespread acclaim, sees brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher back on stage together, joined by original members Gem Archer and Andy Bell, and with Zak Starkey on drums.
Fans attending the Heaton Park shows can expect a setlist packed with the band's iconic hits. Reports from the opening nights of the tour suggest a career-spanning performance, including classics such as "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," "Supersonic," and "Champagne Supernova."
Support for the Manchester dates will be provided by fellow Britpop stalwarts Cast and The Verve's former frontman, Richard Ashcroft, promising a full evening of 90s nostalgia.
The "Oasis Live '25" tour has been one of the most eagerly anticipated musical events of the decade, with tickets for all dates selling out in record time. Following the Manchester leg, the tour will continue with dates across the UK and Ireland, before heading to international venues.
